Fundraising and budgets

  • Work with Client to establish a realistic fundraising goal and an estimate of expenses for project
  • Adhere to projected due dates for fundraising with items such as: Benefit Committee mailing, invitation mailing, follow-up phone calls
  • Maintain, expand and monitor the mailing lists from last year to this year’s (does not include data entry of clients mailing listing over 500 names)
  • Research new prospects not currently part of your constituency related to the honoree and leadership specified for this particular event
  • Draft and produce the fundraising letters to all “past” and “targeted” donors
  • Make follow-up phone calls to all non-respondents and re-fax letters as necessary
  • Process replies to letter campaigns
  • Confirm and monitor Benefit Committee lists for the invitation and program
  • Track, confirm and monitor donor listings (individual & corporate) for printed materials
  • Process replies to invitations including: reply forms, telephone replies and faxes
  • Record all responses (ticket, table & contributions) into database; copy reply forms, checks and credit card information and send to Client
  • Record seating and special menu requests into the database
  • Regularly produce Alpha Reports showing income and ticket sales to-date and circulate to Client
